Our Intensive Spanish Course of 20 classes per week at Inhispania, Madrid, is designed for those who want to learn quickly in a motivating environment and in small groups (average of 5-6 participants and maximum of 9). With highly qualified native teachers and a communicative approach, you will improve your Spanish skills from day one. We offer classes for all levels from A1 to C1, from beginners to advanced, in the best area of the heart of Madrid.

Who is this Spanish Course for?

Our Intensive Spanish Course is ideal for international students, professionals, or anyone aiming to improve their Spanish level in a short amount of time. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or already have previous knowledge; at Inhispania we offer classes adapted to your level. The minimum age to participate in our Intensive Spanish Courses is 16 years old.

Schedule

The Intensive Spanish Course is held Monday through Friday, with a total of 20 classes per week. Most courses are offered in the morning schedule, starting at 10:00 AM, although there are also afternoon options beginning at 2:00 PM.

Course Duration

You can enroll in intensive programs ranging from 1 to 16 weeks, depending on your availability. For longer programs (16-44 weeks), check the information on long-term courses and student visa options.

Price

Starting from €165 per week, based on an intensive program of 20 classes per week for a duration of 16 weeks. The longer the course duration, the lower the price per week. The highest price corresponds to a single week, costing €190.

Registration and Start Dates

Our Intensive Spanish Courses are available throughout the whole year. If you have prior knowledge of Spanish, you can begin any Monday (we will assess your current level). For complete beginners, we offer new groups at least twice a month, with new groups starting on Mondays as well. See our calendar to select the start date that works best for you.

Certifications

Inhispania is an Instituto Cervantes Accredited Center. Upon completing the course (with 80% required attendance), you’ll receive a Certificate of Attendance and Achievement. With our school, you also have the option to officially certify your Spanish level with SIELE exams or prepare for the DELE diploma with specialized support.

How is my progress assessed in the Intensive Spanish Course?

Your progress is evaluated through a dual assessment system:

Continuous Monitoring (80%): Daily teacher evaluations tracking participation, homework completion, and in-class performance.
Periodic Tests (20%): Biweekly exams assessing grammar, listening, and writing skills.
Final certificates reflect both components and provide a comprehensive overview of your linguistic development.

Materials

In our intensive programs, we use the Aula Plus and C de C1 textbooks from Difusión, one of the most respected and recognized publishers among both Spanish teachers and students. During your program, you’ll have access to these materials through the school’s book lending service. Additionally, with your registration fee, you’ll receive our Gramática de uso del español book for your entry level, which includes brief and clear grammar explanations, over 450 exercises, and solutions.

In addition to Spanish classes, at Inhispania we offer weekly sociocultural activities that will allow you to discover Madrid and immerse yourself in Spanish culture. These activities are optional and included in the registration fee, although you will only need to cover transportation costs, consumptions, and entrance fees. It’s an ideal opportunity to make new friends and practice Spanish in real situations, thus enriching your learning experience.
